Point Cook, where this museum is located, is the birthplace of the Australian Flying Corps (AFC), now the Royal Australian Air Force.
Due to re open in late 2022 after large infrastructure works. Improved accessibility in the Main hangar, and refreshed exhibition spaces.
The Stike and Aircraft display hangars are getting a revamp as well, with better accessibility and including the addition of an interactive and immersive visitor experience to enhance the exhibited aircraft etc.
Admission is free to the RAAF Museum, but donations are appreciated.
