Who is responsible

Grow Zone Scandinavia AB, org. no. [ORG NUMBER], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], Sweden, is responsible for your personal data on this site. You can reach us at contact@transportmuseums.com.

What we collect, and why

• Forms. When you add a museum or contact us, we keep your name, email address and what you send, so we can review it, answer you and tell you when a museum goes live. We rely on our legitimate interest in running the directory and answering you.
• Your exact location. On the near-me pages your browser can share your location, if you allow it. Distances are worked out on your device, and we never receive or store that location.
• Your approximate area. Our hosting provider works out a rough location, about city level, from your connection. We use it to show nearby museums and don’t store it.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider briefly keeps technical data such as IP addresses, to run and protect the site.

Who handles the data for us

• Cloudflare: hosting, security and spam protection.
• Supabase: our database, located in the EU (Ireland).
• Resend: sending email from the site.

Some of these companies are based in the United States, so data may be transferred outside the EU under the safeguards the law requires. We don’t sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to handle your request, and delete them after 24 months at the latest. If a museum you added is published, the listing stays, but your name and email aren’t shown on it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit it. Email us at contact@transportmuseums.com. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
